Lancashire Verge Works

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the verge works contract with Lancashire County Council (LCC).

This project includes both manual and mechanical vegetation removal from kerb tops and footways, alongside the side dressing of footways and carriageways across Lancashire. To ensure minimal disruption to residents and road users, all works will be completed using safe, appropriate traffic management. Additionally, our teams will responsibly remove and dispose of all site arisings, leaving the county’s roads clean and clear.” There are supporting photos for this which I will forward on.

Improvements to Clitheroe Market

Following a tender process completed by Ribble Valley Borough Council, Groundwork Direct Limited are pleased to have been successfully selected to complete Improvements to the historical Clitheroe Market. We look forward to working in partnership with Ribble Valley project teams to deliver these improvements.

Anti-Terrorist Bollards project

Selected as the preferred supplier to install Anti-Terrorist Bollards outside of Burnley Football Club. The new bollards will protect matchday fans from potential incidents. This project is in conjunction with the Town 2 Turf project also undertaken by Groundwork Direct.

Undertaken improvements to residential gardens and patios etc.

Town 2 Turf

Improving the “corridor” from Burnley town centre to Turf Moor, home of Burnley Football Club. We were successfully selected following a tender process to complete the laying of paving element of the project and are pleased to be supporting the significant improvements this project will deliver. Working alongside Lancashire County council to deliver the transformation.

Marsden

New driveway and gates installed to private property in Marsden.

Netherwood Road Bridge

A new bridge linking Netherwood Road with the Brun Valley Forest Park has been completed providing a new route that passes through woodlands and meadows on the southside of the river.
